The award winning “TEENAGE BAND of BROTHERS” …CHEATING DAYLIGHT
features Jesse Crosson, (age 18), Vocals/Guitars/Keyboards/Horns, Kyle Crosson, (age 15), Lead Vocals/Keyboards, Jaden Crosson, (age 13), Drums, Jacob Gill, (age 17), Vocals/Lead Guitar, Connor Gill, (age 13), Vocals/Bass Guitar! 

It has been an award winning year for the band, as  the prestigious LOS ANGELES MUSIC AWARDS, named CHEATING DAYLIGHT  the 2011 “POWER POP…BAND of the YEAR…and they performed LIVE at the 21st annual red carpet event, held at the historic AVALON THEATRE, in Hollywood, California.  2011 also found industry giant Rainbo Records recognizing Cheating Daylight’s song “PHOTOGRAPHS DON’T LIE” as one of the best indie songs of the year, by selecting the track to appear on their annual  “BEST OF 2011” compilation CD, chosen from over 100,000 artist submissions. 

The awards continue to come in for the band, in 2012…as the ALL INDIE MUSIC AWARDS  nominated CHEATING DAYLIGHT as 2012 “ROCK ARTIST of the YEAR” and 2012 “POP ARTIST of the YEAR” and invited them to their red carpet award show to be held in Los Angeles in 2012.  

The 22nd annual Los Angeles Music Awards also announced that CHEATING DAYLIGHT has been nominated for 2012 ROCK ARTIST of the YEAR and 2012 SHOWCASE ARTIST of the YEAR, for their red carpet event, to be held in November, in Hollywood, CA. 

And now…the new record, “ALL WE KNOW” has garnered the band, their 3rd nomination for the prestigious L.A. Music Awards, having been nominated as the 2012 “ROCK ALBUM of the YEAR”.  The album is produced by acclaimed industry veteran, Isha Erskine, whose legendary work includes Maroon 5, Fall Out Boy, Black Eyed Peas, Jeff Beck, Macy Gray and Joss Stone.  The acclaimed music man has also regularly worked with iconic producers and mixers, including Mutt Lange & Mike Shipley.  “ALL WE KNOW” is currently  available in music stores and on  music portals throughout the world wide web, including www.cheatingdaylight.com !

And finally, the 60 date  “ALL WE KNOW…TOUR 2012” kicked off at the Indie Music Fest in Las Vegas, NV on April 27, 2012.  The festival featured 40 of the best unsigned bands in America, and following the event, CHEATING DAYLIGHT was named the IMF 2012 “INDIE ARTIST of the YEAR”! 

These 5 teenagers will continue to tour throughout North America in 2012 – 2013 and bring their award winning, melody driven, radio friendly, pop/rock LIVE show, to their fans and audiences along the way!   

THE PAST…
Jesse Crosson, Kyle Crosson, and Jaden Crosson, grew up in Vacaville, California, and began performing at an early age.  Their love of music & family, led them to form  a band…The Crosson Brothers!

The Crosson Brothers toured throughout California in 2009 and 2010, taking time out to record their debut album, LIGHTS OUT.  The record was co-produced in Los Angeles at R.A.G. Studios, by the award winning producer Robin DiMaggio, of “Lopez Tonight” fame.  The album has received rave reviews, and the CD is currently available in music stores and on itunes.

Jacob Gill, and Connor Gill,  grew up on Cobb Mountain, and attend Middletown High School in Northern California.  In 2009, Jacob was playing in a band named String Theory, when The Lost Boys called and asked if he wanted to join them.  He arrived in time to tour extensively with the award winning, teenage rock band, playing hundreds of dates throughout North America.  In late 2010, his brother Connor was invited to perform with the band, and did so until the band’s breakup in early 2011.  During that time The Lost Boys won numerous awards, including 2010 ROCK ARTIST of the YEAR at the Los Angeles Music Awards, 2011 National ROCK ARTIST of the YEAR at the Phoenix Music Awards, and 2010 Independent Artist of the Year, at the D.I.Y. Music Festival.  The band also released their 3rd album, RUNNING RED LIGHTS, produced by Multi-Platinum, Multi-Grammy Award winner, David Kershenbaum.  The record was nominated for Rock Album of the Year at the 2011 Los Angeles Music Awards, and is currently available at Best Buy Stores, and on the world wide web!

THE FUTURE
As  CHEATING DAYLIGHT launches onto the national music scene, in support of the new record, “ALL WE KNOW”, their ALL WE KNOW TOUR will keep them on the road most of 2012 and 2013.  Stay tuned…they are young…they are restless…they are ready to ROCK…and they will be coming to a city near you!
