I guess I will start by telling you who Jordan Grassi is!  I am a 15 year old country singer songwriter from Canton, Georgia. I have been singing as long as I can remember. I sang in my first "big" performance at the school talent show. I taught myself how to play piano and guitar about 2 years ago and have been writing songs for several years now.  My music is country with a twist of pop. If you were to ask who I sound like, others say I sound like the Dixie Chicks but I think I just sound like me and I hope you love it! 

I started a band about a year ago and we are Jordan Grassi & The Band.  Let me tell you about these amazing guys-  My drummer, Tommy Paschal, is a student of Brad Paisley's drummer so you know he rocks!  Val Hoyt is on the electric guitar, ganjo, resonator and whatever else he can get his hands on. We also have two guest players that join us in full band shows.  They are Bennett Zander on bass guitar and Bob Sneed plays harmonica and mandolin.  We realized when they joined us that they complete our band so our family is complete.  We play at many festivals and events and basically play out any chance we get.  Since the band started, we have gotten a great response from people of all ages.  We constantly have requests for CDs so we are coming out with our first EP Album soon!  We will be working with our producer, Ben Sesar (yes, that is Brad Paisley's drummer) on the album along w/ other members of Brad's band that will be playing on the album.  We are extremely excited to share our new songs with you but in the meantime, please check out the videos of the full band and expect more to come from us soon!

Before I go, I wanted to share some of my accomplishments with you -I won the 2012 Texaco Country Showdown Local Competition in Jasper.  I also won 2nd place in last years Texaco Country Showdown local competition at Eddie's Attic in Atlanta.  My song "Across The Room" was elected Song of the Month for December at Country Atlanta! My songs "Across The Room", "Walk With You", "Confused" and "Angels Tonight" have all aired on Atlanta's 94.9 The Bull's Radio Station. I was accepted into ASCAP's Country Songwriter's Workshop with Bonnie Baker in Nashville. I was also accepted into NSAI's advanced song camp in June where I had the opportunity to work with top songwriters.
